David Giles, Director of Awesome Lifestyle Investments, is an Englishman who now calls Miami his true home. Having lived here for 21 years he knows and loves Miami as much as the natives, whilst still retaining an affection for England and the friends and family he has left behind.

David began his time in Miami as a music promoter, making a big name for himself in the entertainment industry. He co-owned legendary South Beach club ‘Woody’s on the Beach’ with Rolling Stone member Ronnie Wood and then opened another two renowned Miami clubs, ‘Who’s in the Grove’ and ‘Sticky Fingers’, both in Coconut Grove.

After selling his last club in 1998, he ventured into the event business and by New Year’s Eve 2000 had produced the Millennium Night on Ocean Drive, the largest televised event in the southern US featuring Ziggy Marley, Blondie and the Gipsy Kings. He still, assisted by his capable daughter Melissa, produces events for the NFL Superbowl, high profile US corporations and large annual festivities such as the Urban Latin Music Festival and Florida’s Art Deco Weekend which culminates in a crowd of 400,000 on Miami’s Ocean Drive.

Now David has entered into Real Estate. Through partnerships with ‘realtors’ who have been successfully selling property in Miami for literally decades, David is passionate about finding people their dream home so that they too can live the Miami way of life. Awesome Lifestyle Investments will not only find you your ideal property, it will also introduce you personally, as a guest, to the ‘real Miami’. The bars, the beaches, the shopping, the restaurants… everything that has made Miami the gem that it is.
